Perkins Precision Developments (PPD) manufactures coated and uncoated optics for both prototype and volume OEM requirements. We also offer custom Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) coatings on customer-supplied substrates. Our low overhead structure and production flexibility are designed to maximize both quality and value to our customers. Target applications include semiconductor test and inspection equipment, high-energy laser systems, material processing, medical instrumentation, telecommunications, aerospace, security, and defense. Established in 2009 and located just 30 minutes north of Denver, PPD is a progressive company with extensive experience in optics manufacturing. The company resides in a 7,000-square-foot facility with a class 10,000 clean room. We have a full range of shaping, grinding, polishing, and coating equipment that allows us to manufacture a wide variety of shapes and sizes of precision optical components and assemblies.
